Our Team

MCI & Associates is a proudly locally owned and operated, team of accountants and advisors. Heading up the firm are Directors - Neil Ivamy, Esther Gleave (both Accounting Principals), Sean Stafford (Advisory Principal) and Heidi Morgans (Practice Manager), alongside experienced Principals - Simon Curran, Moira Paewai and Sam Ellingham, who are supported by some 50+ accounting and administration staff.

Moira Paewai

Moira began her working career in Dannevirke with Holloway & Irwin, MCI’s predecessor, before moving out of the area to extend her personal development. She has been a Chartered Accountant since December 1987 and enjoyed excellent opportunities within senior management positions before returning home to Dannevirke to be closer to her family. 

 

Moira has put all her experiences to work with her current clients and loves sharing this experience and her expertise in advisory and compliance matters for the benefit of her clients. After developing an interest in governance, Moira became a chartered member of the Institute of Directors in January 2020. During 2023, Moira earned the well-deserved title of 'Fellow Chartered Accountant'; a recognition of  her oustanding contribution to the industry.

 

Moira enjoys spending time in the garden, the odd tennis tournament, and now that travel isn't so restricted with Covid-19, Moira is excited to visit family overseas. Moira is also involved in many community groups, following her own and her family's interests.
