MCI & Associates is a proudly locally owned and operated, team of accountants and advisors. Heading up the firm are Directors - Neil Ivamy, Esther Gleave (both Accounting Principals), Sean Stafford (Advisory Principal) and Heidi Morgans (Practice Manager), alongside experienced Principals - Simon Curran, Moira Paewai and Sam Ellingham, who are supported by some 50+ accounting and administration staff.

Sean Stafford

Advisory Specialist, B.Sc

An experienced corporate banker with more than 17 years banking leadership and deal structuring experience, Sean previously specialised in large scale agricultural business. Sean holds a BSc in Agricultural & Animal Science, an Advanced Certificate in Nutrient Management, and is a chartered member of the Institute of Directors NZ.

 

As an advisory specialist, Sean naturally leads the advisory components of MCI. His area of expertise incorporates governance, equity partnerships, succession, business strategy, and raising finance. He is also skilled in mediation coaching and facilitation, deal structuring, and intergenerational business transition.

 

Sean has hands-on rural experience - he lives locally with his wife and their two young boys on their dairy farm situated near Woodville, and is in ownership of a Sheep & Beef farm, located in Seddon.
