Our Team

MCI & Associates is a proudly locally owned and operated, team of accountants and advisors. Heading up the firm are Directors - Neil Ivamy, Esther Gleave (both Accounting Principals), Sean Stafford (Advisory Principal) and Heidi Morgans (Practice Manager), alongside experienced Principals - Simon Curran, Moira Paewai and Sam Ellingham, who are supported by some 50+ accounting and administration staff.

Simon Curran

Simon obtained a Diploma of Agriculture from Massey in 1980 then returned to Massey three years later to complete a Bachelor of Business Studies in accounting, finance and agriculture.  Prior to its merger with Beard Dodson Ivamy to become MCI & Associates, Simon was a partner at Holloway & Irwin in Dannevirke for 11 years.

 

Between gaining his Dip.Ag. and his B.B.S., Simon leased a farm in the Weber district for three years and farming has remained one of his major interests.  Simon is also very experienced in commercial accounting.

 

Simon loves spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoor pursuits of rugby, fishing and growing vegetables.
