MCI & Associates is a proudly locally owned and operated, team of accountants and advisors. Heading up the firm are Directors - Neil Ivamy, Esther Gleave (both Accounting Principals), Sean Stafford (Advisory Principal) and Heidi Morgans (Practice Manager), alongside experienced Principals - Simon Curran, Moira Paewai and Sam Ellingham, who are supported by some 50+ accounting and administration staff.

Xavier Labutte

Xavier began his accounting career in 2002 at a South African auditing firm. After years of study and training, he obtained his Bachelor of Accounting Science in 2008 and joined the South African Institute of Professional Accountants in 2010. He successfully ran his small accounting practice before moving to Dannevirke and beginning his journey with MCI in 2023.

 

Xavier compliments the existing MCI team in assisting clients with their accounting requirements and keeping compliant with IRD. Xavier and his partner live in Dannevirke with their two children where he enjoys spending time with them, alongside cooking, growing vegetables and exploring the amazing areas and beautiful scenes that New Zealand has to offer. He also enjoys interacting within the community through darts, golf, snooker and volunteering at the local Regent Cinema.
